1) This privacy policy applies to Art Gallery Clothing’s website at www.artgalleryclothing.co.uk (the “Website”). We at Art Gallery Clothing take your privacy seriously. This policy covers the collection, processing and other use of personal data under the Data Protection Act 1998 (“DPA”) and the General Data Protection Regulations (“GDPR”).

Normally you will only provide such details if you wish to sign up for our free e-newsletter or other resources, or are making a purchase from us.

8) The information that we collect and store relating to you is primarily used to enable us to provide our services to you, and to meet our contractual commitments to you. In addition, we may use the information for the following purposes:

8.1   To notify you about any changes to our website, such as improvements or service/product changes, that may affect our service;

8.2   If you are an existing customer, we may contact you with information about goods and services similar to those that were the subject of a previous sale to you;

8.3   Where you have consented to receive our e-newsletters, from time to time to provide that to you.

8.4   All photos sent to any of our shops are only held for the duration of the order and are deleted straight after to comply with GDPR.

9) We may disclose your information to regulatory bodies to enable us to comply with the law and to assist fraud protection and minimise credit risk.

10) Please be advised that we do not reveal information about identifiable individuals to our advertisers but we may, on occasion, provide them with aggregate statistical information about our visitors.

PHPSESSID: Used to identify the session between our website and your browser. No tracking or personal information is stored. This cookie is solely for the necessary functions of our website.

mmc-cookie-consent: Stores the user’s Cookie consent choice

__paypal_storage__: This cookie is used by PayPal to store account details

wc_cart_hash_#: Used to store cart details

wc_fragments_# : Used to remember items a user has placed in a shopping cart and ensure that cart functionality works perfectly.It expires immediately a user leaves the site.

Analytical cookies:

_ga: Records a particular ID used to come up with data about website usage by the user

_ga_#: Used to distinguish individual users by means of designation of a randomly generated number as client identifier, which allows calculation of visits and sessions

_gat: Used to monitor number of Google Analytics server requests when using Google Tag Manager

_gid: Keeps an entry of unique ID which is then used to come up with statistical data on website usage by visitors. It is a HTTP cookie type and expires after a browsing session.

__utmc: Used only with old Urchin versions of Google Analytics and not with GA.js. Was used to distinguish between new sessions and visits at the end of a session.

#__utm.gif: Logs the details about the visitor’s computer and browser using Google Analytics Tracking Code. The cookie is a pixel tracker type and is only active during the browsing session.

__utmz: Contains information about the traffic source or campaign that directed user to the website. The cookie is set when the GA.js javascript is loaded and updated when data is sent to the Google Anaytics server

__utmb: Used to distinguish new sessions and visits. This cookie is set when the GA.js javascript library is loaded and there is no existing __utmb cookie. The cookie is updated every time data is sent to the Google Analtyics server.

_fbp: Facebook tracking pixel used to identify visitors for personalized advertising.

nsid, paypal-offers–cust, ts, ts_c, l7_az, tsrce, enforce_policy, x-pp-s, LANG: These are used by Paypal to track payments made through the site via PayPal account
